Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization. All programs and services are provided at no charge to persons who are blind or who are visually impaired, with the exception of our Low Vision Clinic. We are able to provide high quality comprehensive programs to residents of Hillsborough, Polk and surrounding counties through the generosity of various funders including the United Way of Tampa Bay, United Way of Central Florida, the Division of Blind Services, Hillsborough and Polk County Board of County Commissioners, City of Tampa, City of Winter Haven, Grants, Special Events, and through Corporate and Personal Contributions.
As our programs continue to expand to meet the emerging needs of the community, we continue to seek new funding sources and new ways to provide community awareness about our services.
You can assist us in many different ways and choose from a variety of donation options. Many different assets are acceptable as contributions, and minimal paperwork is required. Donations of any size are always welcome. You can give a gift in your name, memorialize another person, or pay tribute to an individual. 100% of all donations benefit Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind's programs and services.
